GUI (Graphical User Interface) testing is a process of testing to ensure the quality assurance of a program or system that uses graphical user interface, whether the program meets its written specifications or not. Some test cases are normally needed to simulate and prove the quality. GUI application has become more popular over time because of some reasons: they provide the standards of a client operating system and thus make it easier to test and evaluate, they are flexible and can be used in many areas in applications, there are many integration of custom and package application of GUI, there are more controls on the screen access, the interface to the application is more natural, and there are choices whether to use mouse or keyboard in the testing.
